What to do in the Winter

You first enjoy its beauty, right out your front door!

You enjoy time with friends home for the holidays.

You practice duck hunting in your grammy jammies.

You put your snowboard stuff on and hope someone will take you to the mountain.

You take up playing the piano (even the dog enjoys it).

Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

This has been a busy summer and its almost over...so sad. We did lots of GOOD things like high adventures, camping, fishing, golfing and youth conferences. The BAD was my first root canal and Bob's first crown (same day). The UGLY was Michael's hand getting bit by a pitbull. Just after he showed me his beautiful golf swing...he went to get the golf ball from the neighbors yard and this visiting pitbull attacked. Luckily, Michael didn't move a muscle and the dog let go. It could have been really ugly but heaven was watching over Michael that day.

My First White Water Raft Trip

The picture is tiny but you get the idea. Thats my head in the middle with Lenore (aka Pocahontas) as our guide. Our YW High Adventure this year was awesome! We had groups go horseback riding, scuba diving, and rifle, shotgun & Archery. Then all 47 of us met for Rock climbing and repelling. We camped then the next day we went White water rafting. I did alot of firsts. I went with the rifle, shotgun & Archery group and shot all kinds of guns and never hit one target. I repelled down the small cliff not the big one. And I made it through the white water rafting! Can't wait till next year!!

McCall and Jaymie worked on their guitar/singing duet. Beautiful! It was a weekend filled with extended family and friends as well.

For Mark

Longest road trip day ever!

Driving to Pocatello, Idaho New Years Eve through Boise. 13 hours total trip time. 40mph

Coming home through Montana Jan. 3rd. 7 hours total trip time. Normal Highway speeds.
Moral of the story? We should have chosen Montana both ways...
But all is well, we made it safe and sound. Mishawn's family is moved and McCall is settling in at BYU-I. What a weekend!!
