We're back from Florida

Brock and papa sharing french fries and ketchup at Bubba Gumps. Yum!

Brock snuzzling papa Bob. Love that smile!

We spent a few days in Miami, Florida this past week. Although it was mostly a business trip, we got to spend some time with our grandson Brock. Everyone had to work most of the time , but I didn't!! So Brock and I hung out. We went for walks and saw ducks, dogs and birds, we ate(and took pictures), we talked, we sang, we danced, we shopped, and we laughed. I am not in one picture (surprise, surprise). But here's a few I took. And check out the Brock dancing video. Gotta love that boy!

A few pictures from the holidays

Mike with his twin brother Bear. (Bear weighs about 25 lbs. more than Mike.)
Mark in a football stance with Jaymie. They have their coordinating Cardinals shirts on. Jaymie came for New years to be with Mark and meet us. Mark is obviously in love or he wouldn't be acting so wierd! We had a great time getting to know Jaymie. She loves dark chocolate and little smokies. She taught us how to play "Wacky Six" and we taught her how to play "Parchessi"!

Brock at Thanksgiving. We really miss him! Micah and Mishawn too! (They will be in Florida for 4 months and we get to go see them in February, YAHOO!)

What is the Author trying to say?

CURIOSITY
He wears a robe of brilliant yellow, so intriguing you wish to reach out and grasp it, but at the same time you feel compelled to stay back for fear of the hideous face that lies between his shoulders. Haunting everyone who gazes upon his cold dark eyes and wrinkled, ghost white skin. He is the sole purpose for every invention and discovery, and lives in the minds of those willing to let him control their actions. His words are as soothing as the melodious sound of running water, yet his eyes seem to scream warnings of the words he speaks. The heart of those he has control over is the dragon he cannot slay. He rarely ventures out to fight it for fear that it will defeat him and take back the victims he has claimed. But on precious few occasions, he does seek out the heart. With only their fists as weapons they fight ferociously. The battle lasts a total of five days until his worst fears come true. The heart has defeated him, leaving his victims to live their own lives free from his influence.

Updated Snow Report

Another 4 1/2 inches fell last night. I measured. More storms are coming Christmas Eve and Christmas day with the possibility of another foot of snow from those storms. I hate to think of this all melting at once. I have never seen this much snow in all my years in Spokane. But, I would take this over ice storm anyday!
